Prior to founding J. Nir Design Build, Jay directed design across hotels, restaurants, and hospitality concepts nationwide — bringing a rare understanding of how space, flow, and atmosphere shape the way people live and gather.

That perspective informs every residential project we take on, as today we are focused on luxury residential – but our passion for hospitality is permanent, and at this time we will gladly take on only the most interesting and exciting hospitality design projects.

Cofffee & Espresso

Having consulted for all manner of cafes, set up countless coffee programs, trained baristas, designed multiple coffee shops, roasting coffee myself, using a commercial espresso machine at home daily, and of course having owned, designed and operated a specialty coffee shop on the Lower East Side of Manhattan – Specialty Coffee projects are dear to my heart and given top priority.
